A pretty average restaurant... OK setting, OK food... The service though is pretty good. Especially an English speaking lady that was very forthcoming and pleasant. And, which is very unusual for Germany, she spoke amazing English. I&#39;d recomend the restaurant mostly due to the staff.

Alta Villa

This seemed to be the only place open on &quot;Ruhetag&quot; or &quot;quiet day&quot; so we entered on a whim after a visit to nearby Kloster Eberbach. We couldn&#39;t have been more pleased. The restaurant has a nice mix of old and new decor. We were treated to a free soup of the house before our dinner of orange duck and pasta with mushrooms with goose. Our meals were delicious and we appreciated the free tiramisu dessert. This is a very cozy and friendly place, or as the Germans say, gemutlich!
